Overnight Cold Oatmeal



½ cup rolled oats

½ cup milk or almond milk

1 tbsp plain yogurt

½ tsp honey, maple, syrup, or brown sugar

1-2 tbsp raisins

optional- crushed unsalted nuts (i.e. hazelnuts, pecans, almonds), flaxseeds, chiaseeds

1/8 tsp pure vanilla extract (unless using vanilla flavored almond or soy milk)

2-3 pinches ground cinnamon



Mix all ingredients, cover, and refrigerate at least 5-7 hours before eating.

Feel free to add fresh fruit (i.e. mangos, banana slices, papaya slices, berries all work beautifully.
